Position Overview

As the company continues to grow, we are expanding our sales team. We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Inside Sales Associate to join our team. Your primary responsibility is to call and follow up on warm leads that come in via website search and website chat as well as answer incoming call inquiries. These leads have all expressed an interest in learning more about products and pricing so you'll be following up to answer questions. Ideally, you'll have the type of personality and motivation to establish rapport quickly and ideally close a sale on the first call. You'll also be going through the salesforce database and calling on previous customers who have not ordered recently. This is definitely a fast-paced environment, and you'll be very busy as the customer base continues to grow.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on all warm sales leads/website inquiries quickly
• Talk with prospects about their current merchandise needs and respond knowledgeably about product availability, provide pricing, and/or prepare a quote.
• Actively go through the salesforce database and follow up with prior customers
• Support the outside sales team by setting up new appointments
• Become an expert on the product line
• Maintain accurate sales activity in the salesforce database
• Reliability - work starts at 8am Monday through Friday, ends at 5pm. Must be punctual.
• A friendly smile and positive outlook goes a long way!

Background and Skills

• 2-3 years of inside sales, phone sales, telemarketing, project support, sales support and/or customer service
• This position is ideal for anyone who has an outgoing personality, enjoys talking with customers on the phone, educating them about the product line, and the excitement of the call ending in a purchase order
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written
• Proven track record of success in sales support
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Organized and detail oriented
• Must be computer and technically savvy – ability to navigate salesforce CRM system
• Ability to learn a comprehensive product line and discuss knowledgeably.
• Motivated by engaging in sales activity
• Reliable and punctual

This is a full-time opportunity with benefits. The salary range is in the 60K-70K range based on experience with additional commission incentive. This position is on-site at the Troy office. We look forward to hearing from you and welcoming you to our team!
